To give our customers peace of mind, we offer a 2-year workmanship warranty on all qualifying projects, ensuring that our work meets the highest industry standards.

Our warranty and service guarantees are designed to protect your investment and ensure that your paved surfaces maintain durability, safety, and functionality. Whether you’ve invested in asphalt paving, sealcoating, crack sealing, striping, concrete work, or ADA-compliant modifications, you can trust that our craftsmanship is backed by a solid commitment to quality.

What Our Warranty Covers

American Asphalt’s 2-year workmanship warranty applies to the following services:

Asphalt Paving & Overlays

  • We guarantee that newly paved surfaces will be free of material defects and workmanship issues for 24 months.

  • Any structural failures due to improper installation will be repaired at no cost.

Asphalt Patching & Repair

  • Our patching services are warrantied against premature failure, cracking, or deterioration caused by workmanship errors.

  • Patches will maintain their integrity and bonding within the warranty period under normal use conditions.

Crack Sealing & Filling

  • We use high-quality rubberized sealants to prevent water penetration and extend pavement life.

  • While crack sealing helps delay deterioration, new cracks may form in untreated areas, which is not covered under warranty.

Sealcoating

  • Our squeegee-applied sealcoating is guaranteed for 1 year against peeling, flaking, or premature wear.

  • This warranty excludes damage caused by excessive traffic, vehicle fluid spills, or improper maintenance.

Slurry Seal & Micro-Seal

  • These surface treatments are covered for up to 2 years against premature failure under normal traffic conditions.

  • Heavy truck traffic or improper subgrade conditions may affect longevity and are not covered under warranty.

Concrete Services (Curbs, Sidewalks, Ramps, & Structural Work)

  • We guarantee our concrete installations against major cracking, spalling, and surface defects for 2 years.

  • Hairline cracks, which are normal in concrete curing, are not covered under warranty.

Striping & Pavement Markings

  • Our line striping and pavement markings are guaranteed for 1 year against premature fading or improper adhesion.

  • Natural wear and tear from weather, traffic, and exposure are not included in the warranty.

ADA Compliance & Handicap Ramps

  • Our ADA-compliant installations meet federal and state guidelines at the time of installation.

  • We guarantee compliance with proper slope, width, and surface treatments as required by ADA standards.

Warranty Exclusions

While we stand behind our work, some conditions are outside the scope of our warranty:

  • Natural wear and tear due to weather, high traffic, or aging materials.

  • Improper maintenance or neglect, including failure to reseal surfaces when needed.

  • Heavy truck traffic damage beyond the designed weight limits.

  • Subgrade or foundation failures due to soil movement, water erosion, or unforeseen site conditions.

  • Acts of nature such as earthquakes, extreme heat, flooding, or other severe environmental impacts.

  • Utility work damage by third-party contractors that disturb the pavement or concrete surface.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe that a covered service has failed within the warranty period due to workmanship issues, we make the claim process easy:

  3. If the issue falls under our warranty policy, we will repair or replace the affected area at no cost.

Maximizing the Longevity of Your Asphalt & Concrete

To ensure that your pavement lasts beyond the warranty period, follow these best practices:

  • Sealcoat asphalt every 2-3 years to protect against sun, water, and chemical damage.

  • Regularly clean and maintain concrete and asphalt surfaces to prevent premature wear.

  • Avoid heavy truck traffic on areas not designed for excessive loads.

  • Fix drainage issues to prevent water damage from undermining the pavement base.
